Interior linings & ceiling insulation
Walls and ceilings lined in plywood or plasterboard, with ceiling battens and insulation put in first.
On the job shown here, Mike fixed new ceiling battens, put the insulation in, then lined the walls and ceiling in plywood. He lines in plasterboard too.
What’s involved
- Fixing ceiling battens
- Fitting ceiling insulation
- Lining walls and ceilings in plywood or plasterboard
Plywood or plasterboard?
Plywood gives a warm, natural timber look and a tough surface, and can be left natural, clear-coated or painted. Plasterboard gives a smooth, classic finish ready for paint or paper. Mike can talk you through both when he comes out.
